GUI access is normally given to all clients: “System-Wide Administrators”, “TLD Administrators”, “Zone Administrators“ and “Registrars.”
The minimum credentials requirement is a client ID and password for port 443 access. The client ID becomes the unique tracking identifier for all transactions.
Small registrars or other entities can register and manage names via the GUI without the need to be “EPP” enabled. Even clients that connect via EPP need GUI access to buy credits, and download statements.
