Private: Espresso Manual: 5.0 – Clients Tab

There are several client types, “System-Wide Administrators”, “TLD Administrators”, “Zone Administrators“ and “Registrars.” Each client type has different access privileges.

The registrar is the least privileged client type. They may register, renew and modify domains only within their account in the database. A Zone administrator (domain.zone.fun) can modify and update their zones, plus any domains and contacts within that zone. A TLD administrator can modify the records within their TLD (.fun). A system wide administrator can modify all records, all TLDs, all zones, and configure the software and GUI.

For more information about each client type, see Appendix 3: Client Types
