Use this function to backup the Registry database from the GUI. Backups should be performed automatically on a regular basis. This is an additional back up function.
Database Name: The name of the database you want to backup
Database Server: The host name and port number of the server the database is on
Username: The username to connect to the database
Password: The password for the database
Backup Directory: Make sure you choose a directory that exists, and can be written to by the Registry server
Clean Up the Database: Press this button to start a database clean up. This will have an impact on the performance of your site, and is best done during an outage.
Make a Backup: Press this button to make a backup of the database
Download a Backup: For storage, review or recovery.
